01
Give enough location detail to begin
Start with the town, island or general area and the type of property. An apartment in Athens, a coastal home on the Athens Riviera and a property elsewhere in Greece can have different access and visit requirements. Include practical features that affect the work, such as several entrances or an appointment that depends on building access.
You do not need to include an exact address, door code or key location in a first general enquiry. Once the request appears suitable, confirm how any necessary location and access detail should be shared. The aim is to establish whether the work can be considered before exchanging sensitive information.
02
Describe the task alongside the place
Countrywide coverage gives you a place to start, but the detail of your request still matters. Scheduled visual visits, a keyholding arrangement, maintenance coordination and arrival preparation each involve different commitments. Explain the task alongside the location so the discussion can address the work you actually need.
Indicate whether you are exploring continuing care or a particular appointment. Mention preferred dates as preferences to discuss, not assumptions of availability. If several tasks are involved, identify the priority so the first conversation can focus on the part that matters most.
- General location and property type.
- Requested service and the reason you need it.
- Indicative timing or periods when the home is empty.
- Known access constraints, without sharing credentials.
03
Confirm the scope before you depend on it
Coverage across Greece does not mean that every task or requested date is automatically available. Confirm the agreed areas of the property, visit pattern, reporting and access arrangements in the proposal. Ask which services are included and which would need a separate discussion.
Make any timing dependency explicit. If a contractor can attend only on a particular day, or you want preparation before a planned arrival, explain that early. Do not book other work on the assumption that access support or a specific attendance time has already been accepted.
04
Treat several properties as several practical requests
If you own more than one property, list each general location and describe the work required at each. A care arrangement for one home does not automatically extend to another. Properties in the same wider area may still have different access, travel and coordination requirements, so each needs a clearly defined scope.
Decide whether updates should go to one owner contact or different authorised contacts. Keep each property’s tasks and open questions distinct. This makes it easier to compare proposals and avoids an instruction for one address being mistaken for an instruction covering the others.
05
Move from an enquiry to an agreed next step
The useful outcome of a coverage enquiry is a clear next step: a more detailed discussion, a request for relevant information or confirmation that the requested arrangement cannot currently be offered. An enquiry alone does not establish a service commitment.
If the location and requested tasks are suitable, use the service pages to refine the brief. Agree what will happen, when it will happen, how updates will be provided and what it will cost. Keep any unresolved point visible before transferring access or relying on the proposed care schedule.
Useful answers
A few questions, answered.
Does KeyCare cover all of Greece?
Yes. KeyCare offers property care across Greece. Share the property’s general location and requested tasks so the practical arrangement, schedule and quotation can be confirmed for your home.
Can I enquire about Athens, the Athens Riviera or an island home?
Yes. Countrywide coverage includes these locations. Describe the property and requested support; specific dates, access requirements and task availability still need to be agreed for the individual arrangement.
Can I request a visit on a particular date?
Include the preferred date and explain the task when you enquire. The date is a request until availability and scope are agreed. Mention related appointments or travel plans that depend on the proposed visit.
